I found myself nodding in agreement to a lot of what Vibhu wrote in this blog post. In those times that I have launched a mobile first product I have felt many of the pains of those things it lacks compared to web development. The biggest is the more challenging on-boarding process, which can seem like a big black box.

I'm trying to think of the mobile apps I use which don't sync to a Web counterpart, and those are few (Soundmeter for Android?). Maybe consumers aren't ready to ditch large displays and full-size keyboards quite yet.
